결혼 전 성관계(혼전 성관계), Premarital sexual intercourse

결혼 전 성 생활에 관한 견해는 부모의 성 가치관이나 성 관념, 사춘기 아이들의 성 가치관 등에 따라 다르다.

어떤 부모들이나 사춘기 아이들은 자신들의 성 관념과 성 가치관에 기준을 두고 결혼하기 전 성교를 해서는 절대로 안 된다고 강력히 주장한다.
결혼 전 성교를 해서는 안 된다는 성 관념과 성 가치관을 가진 부모들은 그들의 자녀들도 부모들이 가지고 있는 성 관념과 성 가치관과 거의 같은 성 관념과 성 가치관을 가지고 살기를 바란다.
그런 성 관념과 성 가치관을 가진 사춘기 아이들은 혼전 성교를 하지 않는다.
부모가 자녀에게 가정 정규 소아 성교육을 시킬 때는 부모가 옳다고 생각하는 성 관념과 성 가치관에 관해 확고한 근거와 정보에 의해 자녀에게도 옳은 성 관념과 성 가치관을 가르쳐야 한다.
부모의 성 가치관이나 성 관념이 그 시대와 그 자녀의 세대에 적절치 않아도 부모의 생각으로 옳은 성 관념이고 건전한 성 가치관이라고 판단하면 부모가 생각하는 성 관념과 성 가치관에 따라야 한다고 소아 성교육을 시킨다.

• Opinions about premarital sex life differ depending on parents’ sexual values and beliefs, and adolescents’ sexual values.

• Some parents and adolescents strongly argue that sexual intercourse before marriage is strictly prohibited based on their gender ideas and values.

• Parents who have a gender view and belief that sexual intercourse should not be married before marriage want their children to live with the same sex ideas and values that their parents have.

• Adolescents with such gender ideas and values do not have premarital sex.

• When parents provide their children with regular home-school sex education, they must also teach their children the correct sex ideas and values based on solid evidence and information on the sex ideas and values that parents think are right.

• Even if the parents’ sexual values or ideas are not appropriate for the age and the children’s generation, if the parents think they are correct and sound sexual values, teach children to have sex education that they should follow the gender ideas and values that the parents think.
