장기 작용 가역 피임(Long-acting reversible contraceptive/ARC methods)에 쓰는 피임장치 및 피임약은 다음과 같다.

- 호르몬 자궁강 내 장치(Hormonal intrauterine device (Mirena/IUC/ IUS)
- 구리 등 비 호르몬 자궁내 장치 (Nonhormonal intrauterine device with copper/ParaGard)
- 피부 경유 임플란트 (Subdermal contraceptive implant(Implanon/internationally Norplant/Jadelle)

다음은 단기 작용 가역 피임 방법이지만 때로는 장기 작용 가역 피임으로 간주 한다.

- Depot medroxyprogesterone acetate injection (DMPA/Depo Provera shot)
- 종합 주사용 피임방법

For adolescent girls and young women, long-acting reversible contraception is much more effective than oral contraceptives or transdermal patch contraceptives.

Long-acting reversible contraceptive/ARC methods is superior effective than oral contraceptive pill or skin patch contraceptives The following contraceptive devices and pills are used for long-acting reversible contraceptive/ARC methods.

• o Hormonal intrauterine device (Mirena/IUC/IUS)

o Nonhormonal intrauterine device with copper/ParaGard

o Subdermal contraceptive implant (Implanon/internationally Norplant/Jadelle)

The following are short-acting reversible methods of birth control, but are sometimes considered long-acting reversible contraception.

o Depot medroxyprogesterone acetate injection (DMPA/Depo Provera shot)

o Comprehensive injection contraceptive method
