- 사춘기 여아들은 자기 자신이 자기의 내부 생식기-난소, 난관, 자궁, 자궁경부, 질 등을 맨 눈으로 볼 수 없다.
- 그러나 사춘기 여아 자신이 외부 생식기-음핵, 대 음순, 소 음순, 질 입구, 처녀막 등을 자세하게 보기가 좀 불편하지만 거울을 이용하면 잘 볼 수 있다.
- 가끔 자신의 외부 생식기를 거울로 관찰해서 외부생식기의 정상 구조를 알아보고 무엇이 정상인지 알아두는 것이 좋다.

Can adolescent girls see their external genitalia?
Are female adolescents able to see their own external reproductive organs?
• Adolescent girls are unable to see themselves with the naked eye—the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and vagina.
• However, it is difficult for an adolescent girl to see her external genitalia – the clitoris, labia majora, labia minora, vaginal opening, hymen, etc.
• Sometimes it is good to observe your external genitalia in a mirror to see the normal structure of the external genitalia and to know what is normal.
