가령 3~4세 유아로부터 이성에 관련된 질문을 받은 후 엄마아빠가 답변한 내용과 그 자녀가 자라 9세 때 전과 똑같은 이성에 관련된 질문을 엄마아빠에게 했을 때 엄마아빠의 답변의 내용은 물론 달라야 한다.
그 자녀의 나이와 성장 발육의 성숙도에 따라 많이 다르게 답변해야하고 소아 성교육의 각도와 시각도 달리 해야 한다.
아이들의 성장 발육의 성숙도와 이해능력에 따라 소아 성교육의 내용과 깊이도 달리해야 한다.
