소아 성 학대를 받을 것 같거나 받을 때 어떻게 해야 하나?, What to do when about to be sexually abused or in a situation of sexual abuse?

  • 아이 자신이 소아 성 학대를 받지 않도록 반항해도 소아 성 학대를 때로는 받을 수 있으나 소아 성 학대를 받을 때 어리벙벙하고 두려워서 부모에게나 적절한 소아보호 당국에 알리는 것을 두려워하지 말아야 한다고 가르쳐 주어야 한다. 
  • 소아 성 학대를 받은 어떤 아이는 학대를 한 사람이 잘못했다고 생각하기보다 자기가 잘못해서 소아 성 학대를 받았다고 잘못 생각할 수 있다. 
  • 아이가 잘못해서 소아 성 학대를 받을 수 없다. 
  • 소아 성 학대를 한 사람이 잘못한 것이지 어린아이가 잘못한 것이 아니라고 가르쳐 준다. 
  • 어려서 소아 성 학대를 받았다는 것을 모르고 있다가 성장한 후에 소아 성 학대를 받았다는 사실을 비로소 알게 될 수 있다. 
  • 이때도 서슴지 말고 적절한 사람들이나 당국에 그 사실을 보고하고 그로 인해 아픈 마음을 털어놓고 소아 성 학대로 입었던 상처를 치료받아야 한다. 
  • 나라에 따라 소아 성 학대는 형사사건으로 취급 되고 있다.

Children should be taught that even if they themselves rebel against child sexual abuse, they can sometimes be subjected to child sexual abuse, but they should not be embarrassed and afraid to inform their parents or appropriate pediatric authorities when they do.

A child who has been pedophile may mistakenly believe that she was pedophile because it was her fault rather than the person who abused it.

A child cannot be subjected to child sexual abuse because it is wrong.

Teach them that it is the fault of the person who abused the child, not the child.

You may be unaware that you were sexually abused as a child, and only then come to know that you were abused as a child when you grow up. Even at this time, do not hesitate to report the fact to the appropriate people or authorities, confess your pain, and receive treatment for the wounds you suffered from child sexual abuse.

In some countries, child sexual abuse is treated as a criminal case.
