에이즈, AIDS(HIV infection)
에이즈 개요
- 인체 면역 결핍 바이러스 감염병(사람 면역 결핍 바이러스 감염병, Human immunodeficiency virus infection)에 의해 생기는 감염성 성병이다.
- 이 바이러스에 감염되면 후천성 면역결핍증이 생길 수 있고 이 병으로 생명을 잃을 수 있다.
- 피로, 체중감소, 미열, 수면 중 식은땀, 진균 감염, 진균 질염, 골반 내 염증성 질환 등 전신성 감염병이 생길 수 있고 그로 인해 여러 가지 증상 징후가 생길 수 있다.
- 완치시킬 수 있는 치료약은 아직 없으나 어떤 종류의 항바이러스제 약물로 치료하면 병세가 좋아질 수 있다.
- 이런 성병에 걸리지 않게 콘돔 등으로 예방 하거나 성교를 금기하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다.

에이즈는 어떻게 감염되는 성병인가 How does AIDS spread
- 에이즈는 일종의 바이러스성 감염성 성병이다.
- 에이즈를 앓는 사람과 성교할 때나
- 에이즈 바이러스(인간 면역 결핍 바이러스)를 보균한 보균자와 성교를 할 때,
- 에이즈 바이러스를 보균한 사람의 피를 수혈받거나
- 에이즈 바이러스를 보균한 사람에게 쓴 주사 바늘이나 의료기를 살균 처리를 하지 않고 그 주사 바늘이나 의료기를 다른 사람에게 쓸 때 에이즈 바이러스에 감염될 수 있다.
- 에이즈에 걸리면 사람 면역체 결핍이 생겨 여러 가지 증후군이 생길 수 있다. 이렇게 생긴 에이즈를 후천성 면역 결핍증후군이라 한다.

에이즈를 치료할 수 있는 특효약이 있나 Are there any special medicine for AIDS treatment
- Integrase inhibitor이나 AZT 등 에이즈 치료에 쓰는 항바이러스제가 있지만 아직 완전히 치료할 수 있는 특효약은 없다.
- 적절히 치료하면 증상 징후가 많이 좋아지는 에이즈 치료약들은 있다.
- 그러나 에이즈에 걸리면 고생을 많이 하고 죽을 수 있다.
에이즈를 예방약이 있나 Are there any medicine to prevent from AIDS
- 사람 면역 결핍 바이러스 감염(HIVI)을 완치할 수 있는 특효약이 아직까지 없다. 그러나 에이지티(AZT/Zidovudine·Retrovir), 인디나비(Indinavir), 사쿠인이비어(Saquinivir), PI와 Efavirenza, Didanosine(Videx) 등 항 Retrovirus제들 중 한두 가지, 또는 두세 가지 약으로 치료하기도 한다.에이즈를 예방할 수 있는 백신이나 약은 아직 없다.
- 그러나 에이즈에 감염된 임신부를 치료하면 태어날 아기가 모체로 부터 에이즈 바이러스에 덜 감염되게 할 수 있는 항바이러스 약은 있다.
- 에이즈 바이러스에 감염되지 않게 예방하는 데는 잘 알지 못하는 사람과 절대로 성교하지 말아야 한다.
- 콘돔을 쓰고 성교를 하면 에이즈 감염이 예방될 수 있지만 100%는 예방되지 않는다.
