Why do females have menstruation?

Why do you menstruate?

Why do females have menstruation?

• From puberty and menarche to menopause, most women release one egg from their ovaries every 28 to 35 days. • The physiological phenomenon in which an egg is released from the ovary is called ovulation.

• When the ovulated egg meets sperm and implants in the uterine wall, pregnancy occurs.

• At this time, the egg grows and becomes an embryo.

• A thick layer of vascular plexus forms on the lining of the uterus to supply all the nutrients the embryo needs to grow.

• During one menstrual cycle, if fertilization does not occur or the fertilized egg does not implant into the uterine lining, so that pregnancy does not occur, the thick vascular plexus of the uterine wall becomes thinner and thinner, and by the last day, the vascular plexus of the uterine wall is dissected into the uterine cavity. All.

• At this time, the vascular plexus layer on the inner wall of the uterus is detached and the inner wall of the uterus bleeds. This physiological phenomenon is called menstruation.

• A fertilized egg implants in the plexus layer on the inner wall of the uterus and becomes pregnant, and the fertilized egg becomes an embryo and grows.

• During pregnancy, the thickened vascular plexus layer in the uterine lining does not bleed or menstruate because it can thicken without thinning and dissociating.

• Conversely, it is normal for non-pregnant women to menstruate throughout the menstrual cycle until they become pregnant.

• The duration of the average menstrual cycle is 28 days.

• However, some adolescent girls or adult women may have a menstrual cycle of 23 days, and another adolescent girl or adult woman may have a menstrual cycle of 35 days.

• Most adolescent girls and most adult women do not menstruate regularly according to a regular menstrual cycle period, and it is common to menses a day or two earlier or a day or two later than the expected date of their menstrual cycle period
