주사 피임약, Contraceptive injections

  • 주사용 피임약에는 메드로옥시프로게스테론(Medroxyprogesterone)제가 있고 이 피임약은 일종의 호르몬제이다. 
  • 데포-프로베라 (Depo-provera)는 근육 주사용 피임약이다. 주성분이 메드로옥시프로게스테론(Medroxyprogesterone)제이다. 3개월마다 데포-프로베라 주사를 맞으면 피임된다. 
  • 처방에 따라 이런 종류의 피임약을 쓸 수 있다. 
  • 성생활을 적극적으로 하는 사춘기 아이들이 피임을 할 때 널리 쓰인다. 
  • 요즘 남성들에게 피임을 할 때 피임용 호르몬 주사로 피임하는 방법도 있지만 아직 널리 사용되지는 않는다.

Contraceptive injections

Injectable contraceptives include Medroxyprogesterone, which is a type of hormonal drug.

Depo-Provera is an intramuscular injection contraceptive.

The main ingredient is Medroxyprogesterone. Depo-Provera injections every 3 months will prevent birth control. These types of birth control pills can be used by prescription.

It is widely used for contraception by adolescents who are active sexually active.

Nowadays, there is a method of contraception by injection of a contraceptive hormone when using contraception for men, but it is not widely used yet.
