대부분의 성인 여성들은 50세 전후에 월경을 더 이상하지 않는다. 이런 현상을 폐경이라 한다.
즉 폐경은 45~55세경에 오는 것이 보통이다.
폐경을 한 이후 더 이상 월경을 하지 않고 임신 되지 않고, 물론 아기를 낳을 수 없다.
어떤 종류든 정신병을 앓거나 육체적 질병을 앓는 성인 여성들은 정상적으로 폐경기가 오기 전에도 월경을 더 이상 하지 않을 수 있다.
또 어떤 이유로 난소에서 난자가 배란되지 않으면 임신 될 수 없고 월경하지 않는다.
자궁 절제수술을 받은 후나 양쪽 난소 절제수술을 받은 후 월경하지 않는다.

Do female adolescents have menstruation in their whole life after the first menstruation?

Most adult women stop menstruating around the age of 50.

This phenomenon is called menopause.

In other words, menopause usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. After menopause, you can no longer menstruate, become pregnant, and, of course, have children.

Adult women who suffer from any kind of mental or physical illness can normally stop menstruating before menopause. If for some reason an egg does not ovulate in the ovary, you cannot become pregnant and do not menstruate. Do not menstruate after hysterectomy or bilateral oophorectomy.
