  • 성교를 하기 바로 전에 여성의 질 강 속에 삽입해 피임할 수 있는 스펀지와 비슷하게 생긴 피임기구를 피임 용 스펀지라고 한다. 
  • 질 강 속에 넣으면 녹아서 정자를 죽일 수 있는 살정제가 피임용 스펀지 속에 들어 있다. 
  • 질 강 속에 삽입한 스펀지가 질 속에서 녹을 때 그 스펀지 속에 있는 살정제로 인해 질 속에 사정된 정자들이 죽어서 피임이 된다
  • 피임용 스펀지를 질 강 속에 넣어서 피임하는 대신 살정 젤리를 써서 피임 할 수도 있다.
  • 피임용 스펀지는 의사의 처방 없이 약국에서 살 수 있다.

A contraceptive device similar to a sponge that can be inserted into a woman’s vaginal cavity just before sexual intercourse is called a contraceptive sponge.

There is a spermicide in the contraceptive sponge that melts and kills sperm when placed in the vaginal cavity.

When the sponge inserted into the vaginal cavity melts in the vagina, sperm ejaculated in the vagina die due to the spermicide in the sponge, resulting in birth control Instead of inserting a contraceptive sponge into the vaginal cavity to contraceptive,

you can use spermicidal jelly to contraceptive. Contraceptive sponges can be bought at pharmacies without a doctor’s prescription.
