호르몬 피임약을 피하 조직층에 매몰해서 피임한다, Subcutaneous embedded hormone contraceptive

노플란트(Norplant)이나 임플아논(Implanon)에는 에토노게스테스트렐(Etonogestestrel) 호르몬 성분이 들어 있다.
이런 종류의 피임제를 피하 조직 속에 매몰해서 피임할 수 있다.
어떤 사춘기 여아들은 다른 피임약으로 피임했을 때에 실패한 후 이런 종류의 피임약으로 쓰면 피임효과가 좋기 때문에 이런 종류의 피임약을 선호하기도 한다.(참조 문헌; Adolecent medicine clinics October 2005 p.555)

Subcutaneous embedded hormone contraceptive

Norplant or Implanon contains the hormone Etonogestestrel.

This type of contraceptive can be used by embedding it in the subcutaneous tissue.

Some adolescent girls prefer this type of contraceptive because it has a good contraceptive effect when used with this type of contraceptive after failure with other contraceptives.
