- 이차 성징이 나타나기 시작하고 키가 쑥쑥 자라고 남아들의 몸이 성인 남성들의 몸과 같이 변하고 여아들은 성인 여성들의 몸과 거의 같게 변해서 아이들이 성인들이 되어 가는 성장발육시기를 사춘기라고 한다.
- 이 시기에 여아들의 젖가슴이 커지고 ㅂ ㅗ지에 털이 나고 겨드랑이에 털이 나고 월경을 한다.
- 남아들에게는 고환이 커지고 남아들의 ㅈ ㅏ지의 주위 외부생식기에 털이 나고 ㅈ ㅏ가 커지고 팔다리 등의 근육이 건장하게 발달되고 강해진다.

When does your 8-10-year-old school-age child ask what is adolescence?
Adolescence is a period of growth and development in which secondary sexual characteristics begin to appear, grow taller, and boys change their bodies to resemble those of adult males, and girls change to almost the same as those of adult women.
During this period, the breasts of girls grow larger, hair grows on the genital area, hair on the armpits, and menstruation occurs. In boys, the testicles get bigger, and the external genitalia around the males grow hairs, get bigger, and the muscles such as the arms and legs are developed and strong.
