임신이 되면 월경은 더 이상 하지 않고 자궁벽은 수정란이 착상하기 좋게 그 수정란의 성장에 알맞게 두꺼워진다.

월경의 주기의 단위는 날이다.

  • 사춘기가 8~13세경에 여아들에게 온다. 그리고 이차 성징이 나타난다. 
  • 사춘기 여아들은 초경을 한다. 
  • 그 후 사춘기 여아들과 성인 여성들의 자궁 내막에서 3~7일 간 생리적으로 출혈이 생긴다. 
  • 그 출혈이 자궁 경부에 있는 자궁경관과 질 강을 통과해서 질문 밖으로 나온다. 
  • 이런 생리를 월경이라 한다. 
  • 월경은 3~7일 동안 계속하는 것이 보통이다 
  • 월경을 생리, 또는 멘스(Mens)라고도 한다.

• Puberty comes to girls around the age of 8 to 13. And the secondary sexual characteristics appear.

• Adolescent girls menarche.

• The endometrium of adolescent girls and adult women then begins to bleed physiologically for 3 to 7 days.

• The bleeding comes out of the vagina through the cervix and vaginal cavity in the cervix.

• This period is called menstruation.

• Menstruation usually lasts 3 to 7 days.

• Menstruation is also called menstruation, or Mens.
